About us

Welcome to The Sanskriti Digi Play School. We are an independent nursery school with family values, established in 2011.

Sanskriti has its own high standard, purpose-designed premises and offers a happy and encouraging environment in which a child may develop pre-school skills confidently. We provide through careful organization and planning, foundations upon which children can build a sound education and reach their full potential. This will be achieved through a variety of activities – imaginative play, art, drama, dance, storytelling, cooking, simple science, music, sports, yoga, swimming, constructive modelling, reading, writing and the introduction of mathematical concepts.

Academics

Academics programs at sanskriti have always been given the highest priority by both the school’s dedicated teachers and the administration, here at our school the core knowledge sequence provides the foundation for the curriculum, which ensures that all the students in the school learn a coherent and unified body of knowledge and academic skills.Our team consists of qualified and experienced staff, support children in gaining independence and fulfilling their potential in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.Here at our school students follow a challenging curriculum with the option of pursuing.

We follow the National Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which ensures that children’s progress is carefully monitored across the seven key areas of their development, all the students receive individual academic advice and help, and students receive extensive counseling in their early academic years.

The School

This prospectus is intended to give you some detailed information but it is really best to come and see the school for yourself. You are welcome to ring and make an appointment, please do not register until you have made an appointment to see the school or until your baby is born. The school was started by Mr.M.A. Giridhar Goud in 2011.

The Staff

There are always 5 qualified staff with the children – 2 with E.Y.P.S (Early Years Professional Status)and 2 with Early Years Degrees. We also have 1 qualified teaching assistant. We are very lucky to have proficient female staff members, which helps the dynamics in the school. We always have enough permanent staff so that we do not have to rely on and use ‘supply’ staff. Mrs. Keerthi has a wide range of teaching experience and is very much involved with other aspects of education within the School. She teaches most days and is available to answer any questions and discuss any problems that may arise. Clair teaches a specialist music class each week and ensures that she teaches the ‘Little’ and ‘Transition’ classes in small groups so that she gets to know each child as an individual, she is happy to give help and advice on future schools for all of the children in her care.

Communication with Parents

The school adopts an ‘open door’ policy towards parents/guardians. We try to work closely with them to help the child’s development and we encourage parents/guardians involvement. We hope that parents/guardians will attend open days, sports days and concerts etc, which take place each term and we also hope that they are able to volunteer to help with outings, swimming and with other aspects of their child’s/children’s class.

We have regular newsletters to keep parents/guardians informed of activities and projects of work in which the children are involved. The children receive a written report once a year.

Their progress is carefully monitored and we build up a foundation stage profile/learning journal for every child through observation and planning. These profiles are available on request to the parents/guardians at any time of the child’s time with us. The files are passed on to the next school. We have a Parents/Guardians Association in the school. The Parents Association is formed to help promote positive relations between the school and the parents/guardians. All parents are members of the Parents/Guardians Association but certain parents (hopefully one from each group/class) will represent them on the committee.

Teaching Methodology

Systematic in-service training over and above teachers format education and experience is a significant facet of quality education, it gives an opportunity to improve and upgrade the teaching abilities of the faculty. At springboard, we conduct orientation sessions for the teachers every month and a workshop once in 3 months.

Curriculum

The curriculum is designed by top class educators who have done intensive studies on child growth and learning capabilities We don’t teach from textbooks but we let the students evolve into their natural footings and guide them. As adults we believe we are mentors or guides and the environment is the third teacher.
